We’re thinking of you, Antonio Banderas. The 57-year-old actor has confirmed his beloved mother, Ana Bandera Gallego, has sadly died at age 84. Antonio took to Twitter to share the news on Saturday, Nov. 4. “At six o’clock early this morning, our mother Ana Bandera Gallego left us forever. May God keep her in the place she deserves,” he wrote in Spanish. “Thank you very much to everyone for all the support and affection. I cherish the hugs and send you one from the entire family.”

Antonio additionally shared a sweet, black and white throwback photo of his mom via Instagram. No further details on Ana’s cause of death have been revealed at this time. In a previous interview with ABC News, The Mask of Zorro star revealed his mother worked as an elementary school teacher and was married to a policeman.

Antonio is unfortunately not the only star to lose a parent this week. Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon is similarly mourning the death of his mother, Gloria Fallon, after she died on Saturday, Nov. 4. “Today I lost my biggest fan,” the 43-year-old said in a statement to Us Weekly. Jimmy’s network also released a message. It read, “On behalf of everyone at NBC, we extend our deepest condolences to Jimmy and all his family at this time of enormous loss. Our hearts go out to Jimmy and everyone else whose lives were so touched by Gloria Fallon’s love, kindness, and support.”

Gloria sadly passed away one day after Jimmy suddenly canceled his Friday, Nov. 3 taping of The Tonight Show due to a “private Fallon family matter.” A rep for the Fallon family soon after confirmed Gloria’s death. “Jimmy Fallon’s mother, Gloria, died peacefully on Saturday,” the spokesperson revealed in a statement to People. “Jimmy was at his mother’s bedside, along with her loved ones, when she passed away at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC. Our prayers go out to Jimmy and his family as they go through this tough time.” Earlier that day, a rep confirmed that Jimmy had to cancel his hosting duties for the Friday taping and a source later revealed that Gloria had fallen ill and Jimmy had rushed to her hospital bedside. Our thoughts are with both Antonio and Jimmy as they mourn the losses of their mothers during this sad time.
