Though Angelina Jolie's mother, Marcheline Bertrand, passed away from cancer more than eight years ago, the actress is still mourning the loss of her beloved mom — and it's affecting her marriage to Brad Pitt and their family.
“Angelina has never been able to accept her mother’s death. There is a lot of anger there over losing her mom at such a young age, just fifty-six-years-old. Her kids never got to know their grandmother, and Angelina feels cheated," a source close to the 40-year-old star told Radar Online.

"Angelina can’t stay in one place longer than several months because she is literally running from the repressed grief," the insider added.

According to the entertainment news outlet, Angelina's constant sadness is the reason why she and Brad, 51, have chosen to live a jet-set lifestyle with their six kids, Maddox, 14, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 7.

“Brad has wanted to settle in one of their homes... but Angelina absolutely refuses. Moving and uprooting the entire family is extremely hard, but Angelina thrives on the chaos. She seems to think it’s chic to say her kids are globetrotters and can acclimate to any type of environment, but kids need stability and consistency. There will be issues for the kids as they grow up if this continues," the source added.
