Maddox Jolie-Pitt has a new Hollywood gig — working alongside his famous mom!
Angelina Jolie's eldest son, 13, will play a part in the production of her upcoming Netflix movie, an adaptation of Cambodian author Loung Ung's memoir First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers.
The 40-year-old actress is set to direct, produce and co-write the film, People confirmed on Thursday, July 23.

"I was deeply affected by Loung’s book... It is a dream come true to be able to adapt this book for the screen, and I’m honored to work alongside Loung and filmmaker Rithy Panh," Angelina said in a statement about the project, which she described as an unflinching portrayal of war seen through the eyes of a child.

"It deepened forever my understanding of how children experience war and are affected by the emotional memory of it. And it helped me draw closer still to the people of Cambodia, my son’s homeland," she continued.
Last fall, the mom-of-six revealed Maddox was hired as a production assistant on her film, By The Sea, an experience which she described as being "so weird." The movie costarred her husband and Mad's dad, Brad Pitt, 51.
