Alison Sweeney has announced she is leaving The Biggest Loser after 13 seasons on the show.
"After an incredible run together, Alison Sweeney will not be returning as host of The Biggest Loser next season," the show's producers revealed in an official statement to People.
The 38-year-old actress first joined the reality competition in 2007 to replace original host Caroline Rhea.

This announcement comes just one year after Alison left the soap opera Days of Our Lives in October 2014 after 21 years on the show to focus on her family and role on The Biggest Loser.

"There were other things I wanted to do and see," the mom-of-two told People last June. "I had a bunch of good reasons, and I decided it was finally the right time. I know that this is the right decision for my family."
