Rest in peace, Alan Thicke.
The actor sadly died at age 69 on Tuesday, Dec. 13 after suffering a heart attack while playing hockey with his youngest son, Carter Thicke, his family confirmed to NBC News.

The Growing Pains star was reportedly transported to Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank, CA around noon on Tuesday. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Alan is survived by his wife, Tanya Callau, and his three sons, Carter, 19, Brennan Thicke, 41, and singer Robin Thicke, 39. Our thoughts are with the Thicke family during this difficult time.
