Friends Who Witnessed Alan Thicke’s Tragic Heart Attack Open Up About His Last Moments Before His Death

This is heartbreaking.

Days after Alan Thicke‘s untimely death, friends of the late actor have opened up to Closer Weekly in an exclusive interview about the fatal heart attack that led to the actor’s passing at age 69.

“We were here playing hockey and Alan was out on the ice and he started to feel queasy… and [after the] paramedics came and took him away, we were just talking [and said] we thought it was going to be fine,” Mark Decarlo told Closer. “That’s why we’re all shocked today because we thought he was… we thought something happened to him but he was going to be ok.”

“By the time the paramedics got here he seemed [to be] actually doing a lot better,” Sean Branney said. “We all had the impression that he was going to be — I mean, it wasn’t pleasant what he was going through — but we thought he was going to be ok.”

“He was conscious and never passed out as far as I know. After a brief period of distress, he was talking. When the paramedics got here he was talking with them [and] responding,” Branney added. So sad.
