You go, girl!
On Sunday, May 31, two-time cancer survivor Harriette Thompson became the oldest woman to ever complete all 26.2 miles of a marathon at age 92!
After running for 7 hours, 24 minutes and 36 seconds, the Charlotte, N.C. resident crossed the finish line where she was met with cheers and congratulations for her impressive accomplishment.

"I'm amazed that they're interested," she told reporters at the Rock ‘n' Roll marathon in San Diego. "I just feel I don't deserve this, but I'm enjoying [the attention]."

Thompson has participated in the annual race an amazing 16 times. This year, she ran in her son's honor, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
"I just don't think of myself being that unusual," she said. "I have a lot of people saying what an inspiration I am. That's nice to hear, good for something at this age."
