12 Then-and-Now Photos of Forgotten ’90s Sitcom Stars

The '90s were a golden age for sitcoms, but many shows from that decade quickly disappeared, taking famed actors along with them. So where are they now? You'll be surprised to see what they look like today!

Angela Lansbury is best known for her iconic role as Jessica Fletcher in Murder, She Wrote. In the classic crime show, she played a mystery writer cum amateur detective who stumbles upon various crimes and writes about them. The show was a runaway hit and ran for 12 seasons that lasted from 1984 to 1996. The show spanned four spin-off TV movies, a video game, and even a remake.

But after the popular show went off the air in 1996, Angela went back to her original love, theater, and began acting there — unbeknownst to many of her devoted fans who still only saw her as Jessica, the lady from "that show."

“I know that I’m the hook to get the people in the theater,” she said in 2015. “In most instances, 80 percent of the audiences are coming to see Jessica Fletcher. The fact that I’m going to give them [Blithe Spirit's] Madame Arcati is a surprise, but they love it. Thank goodness.”

Today, at 90 years old, the TV actress still shows no sign of slowing down. Not only is she still working and appearing in staged productions, she doesn't see her age as a limitation at all.

“I’ve never been particularly aware of my age,” she said in 2015. “It’s like being on a bicycle – I just put my foot down and keep going. I never look at my face and think 'God, you’re getting old’ or think of running out of steam.”
